〔三本の十字架〕
（ルカ23：32～49）　　田中光三

＊今週は、受難週で、主イエス様が、ロバの子に乗って、

　エルサレムに入城をされた時の様子は、驚くばかりでしたが、後には、ののしりの声に代わりました。その群衆の、ののしりの声の大きさには、驚ろかされます。＊（マタイ21：～16）
＊人は、変わりやすい存在なのですね!

さて、イエスキリストの十字架は、すべてのクリスチャンにとって、「神の国」に入るための、
信仰による、唯一の条件です。
それゆえ、このに、クリスチャンは、イエス・キリストの字について、られている神のご計画に感謝したいと思いますし、まだ、クリスチャンになろうかと迷っている方も
◎イエス・キリストの十字架は、身代わりの愛」だと、知ることができるようにと、語られています。

◎主イエスは、3年をつづけられ、その記録は、タイ、マルコ、ルカ、ヨハネに、それぞれ、くわしく書かれています。そして、最後の目標に向かって、エルサレムに入城されました。
それは、人々の身代わりになって、十字架刑にされることです。

● 主イエスは、 12弟子の一人、ユダの裏切りで、ローマのビフトから刑を受られ、兵士たちに、引き渡されました。ほかにも、二人の犯罪人が、イエスと共に、死刑にされるため、引かれていきました。
◎この2人の犯罪人について、ルカは、詳しく (39~43 節）特に、十字架上のイエスに対する、対照的な姿勢を、取り上げて、
”謙虚に、イエスの恵みをもとめる者”と、

”最後まで、拒む者”とが、書かれております。
＊『イエスの祈り』･･･(34節)、
”その時、イエスは、こう言われた。「父よ、彼らをおし下さい。彼らは、自分が何をしているのかが分かっていないのです。」と、

●主イエスが、「彼らが、何をしているのか分からない、といわれたのは、イエスを十字架刑にしたユダヤ人指導者、民衆議員たち兵士たちのことでしょうか? 兵士たちは、イエスをあざ笑い、ユダヤ人の、「王なら自分を救え」と、甘ったです。 ···· イス自身が、ご自分のメシヤとしての使命を果たすために、多くの苦難の道を、十字架上に向かって歩んでこられたことを、(ルカの福音書)は、まさに、預言者イザヤが、旧聖書の時代からしていたメシヤ(救世主)の寒いであり、一般的に、「のであるメジャ」として知られている(53章)の、イエス・キリストに対する、当時の対決や行動は、まことのメンヤ旧約聖書的に告げているメシヤ (救世主)を、正しく理解しないで、手に、自分達の、単なる利益を期待する。という誤ったメシヤ理解が、根底にあったからだと思われるのです。

◎イエス様ご自身は「苦難の僕としてのメシヤ意識」を、常にもっておられ、それを教えて来たにもかかわらず、この世は、権力があり、経済的な、物質的豊かさを、提供し、与えてくれる治世者、支配者が、メシヤ《救世主》であると、誤解していたことも、ルカ福音書から、教えられます。

・十字上で、主イエスが、死の直前に、嘲り（あざけり)、罵り、悪口を、人々から受けましたが、
『これは、ユダヤ人の王』と書いた札に、… 「罪状書き」には、マタイ27:37 マルコ 15:26 ヨハネ 19:19~20) にもイエスの頭上に掲げてあった」と、（ｖ38）、このことは、ユダヤ人の王でありながら、“自分を救えない、憐れな、無力な王!” と、嘲りが、文字として表現されたようです。

◎しかし、『自分を救わない救い主』という、彼らの嘲笑(あざけり)、嘲りこそ、神が、ご自分の御子イエス・キリストによって、私達に、示されたのが『キリストの十字架の無限の愛の真理』であり、十字架から降りて来られなかった、「キリストの代償死の恵み」で、あるのです。

〔三本の十字架〕

◎ゴルゴダの丘に、三本の十字架が、立てられました。
●「十字架にかけられていた犯罪人のひとりは、イエスをののしり、『おまえはキリストではないか。自分とおれたちを、教え』と、イエスに悪口をいった。(v39) ・・・
●「もし、神のキリスト(メシヤ、い主) で、選ばれた者なら、自分を絞ってみろ!」(v35)
●「ユダヤ人の王なら、自分を救え!」 (v37) ・・・・。と言って、イエスを嘲り、ののしったのです、···· 指導者たちや、群衆と、同じ論理ではありませんか、 ·····

◎それと、対照的に、もう一人の犯罪人は、主イエスの折りを聞いて、率直（そっちょく)に、自分の非を認め、謙虚に、十字架上のイエスに、憐れみを、求めたのであります。・・・・「すると、もう一人が彼をたしなめて言った。「おまえは神を恐れないのか。おまえも、おなじ刑罰をうけているではないか。おれたちは、自分のしたことの報いを受けているのだから当たり前だ。だがこの方は、悪いことをなにもしていない。（v40,41) と、

◎ 自分たちの、罪を認めると同時に、イエスは、死罪にがいとうするようなことはなさらなかったこと、即ち、「罪なき神の子が、十字架の刑を受けて下さる」という《イエスのメシヤ》としての、代償死（身代わりの死）を、彼なりに、認めたのです。
その上で、イエス様に、憐みを、謙虚に、求めて、「イエスさま、あなたの御国の位にお着きになる時には、わたしを思い出して下さい」 (v42) と、言ったのです。
主イエスは、そのに彼に向かって、「まことに、あなたに告げます。あなたは、きょう、わたしとともに、パラダイスにいます。」 (v43)

＊『十字架上のイエス様の宣言」は、
①「きょう」(今日)。という表現です。イエス様から受ける「恵みの約束」は、「今日」からです。信じたからです。

②「わたしとともに」と、いう表現は、『神の国』における、キリストの終末の時の、「勝利の恵み」を、示しております。「イエス・キリスト」は、世の終わりまで、いつも共にいて下さいます。

③「パラダイス」とは、神と人が、共にいる、「エデンの園」に匹敵する、やがてもたらされる、『神の王国』（イザヤ書51：3) や、新約聖書では、（ヨハネ黙示録2、3：7、2 2：2)等に、その様子が、描かれていることも、参考にできる箇所です。

◎異邦人であったルカは。
キリストの福音の基礎原理は、メシヤ(キリスト) を、拒否するか、そのお方、メシヤ(キリスト)を、受け入れるか、のどちらかに、かっていることを、二人の犯罪人の、十字架上の、死の直前、瞬間という危機的な、状況の下での出来事を、対照的に、対比的に記述することによって、メッセージとして、私たちに、告げていると、言えるのです。
ルカは、医師である故に、十字架上の、二人の取るべき態度を、私たちにも、明確にすべきことを語っているのです。

＊「23:47~53節までの聖書箇所で、ここまでを、主イエスイ様の受難週とまとめたいと、思います。

（お祈りします）。

*This week is the Passion Week,
When the Lord Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey’s colt, the crowd was astonished, but later, it was replaced by the sound of scolding. The loudness of the crowd’s scolding was astonishing. *(Ma.12l:~16).
*People are changeable beings, aren’t they?
Now, the cross of Jesus Christ is the only condition for all Christians to enter the “Kingdom of God, the “Kingdom of God” for all Christians by faith. Therefore, during this Passion Week, Christians should be thankful for God’s plan in the Bible, which tells us about the cross of Jesus Christ. And for those who are not yet sure whether they want to become Christians or not,
I hope that they can know that the cross of Jesus Christ is “God’s substitutionary love”.
◎The Lord Jesus continued his missionary work for about three years, as recorded in detail in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. He entered Jerusalem with the final goal in mind. The Lord Jesus was crucified on the cross as a substitute for the sins of the twelve disciples.
◎The Lord Jesus was sentenced to death by Pilate, the Roman governor, for the betrayal of Judas, one of the 12 disciples. He was handed over to the soldiers. Two other criminals were also taken to be put to death along with Jesus.
◎Luke describes these two criminals in detail (v39-43), especially their contrasting attitudes toward Jesus on the cross. One of them humbly asks for the grace of Jesus. The other refuses to accept the grace of Jesus even to the end.
*The Prayer of Jesus” (v34),
“Then Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” When the Lord Jesus said, “They do not know what they are doing,” was he referring to the Jewish leaders, the people, the senators, and the soldiers who had crucified Him? The soldiers mocked Jesus and said of the Jews, “If you are a king, save yourself.”
The Gospel of Luke, which tells us that Jesus Himself walked the road of many tribulations to the death of the gift of sin on the cross in order to fulfill His mission as the Messiah, is the precious image of the Messiah whom the prophet Isaiah had prophesied of since the time of the Old Testament. He is generally known as “the suffering servant of the Messiah” (Luke 1:1). The people and leaders of the time, who were aware of the confrontation with Jesus Christ, known as “the suffering Messiah” (Isaiah 53), did not have a correct understanding of the true Messiah (the Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament). Rather, they had a false understanding of the Messiah and expected that he was coming only for their own benefit.
The Gospel of Luke tells us that although Jesus himself always had the “Messianic consciousness of a suffering servant” and taught this the people of the time, they misunderstood it. The world believed the Messiah would be a ruler who provides and grants economic and material wealth.
On the cross, the Lord Jesus was mocked, cursed, and spoken evil of by the people just before his death. A sign was placed over his head that read, ‘This is the King of the Jews,’ … (see Matthew 27:37, Mark 15:26, John 19:19-2). In words, this was effectively mocking Jesus by saying, “Look at this poor, helpless King of the Jews, who cannot even save Himself!”
But God has shown us the truth of His infinite love through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is because of the “grace of Christ’s substitutionary death” that He did not come down from the cross.
The Three Crosses.
◎Three crosses were erected on the hill of Golgotha.
One of the criminals who was hanging on the cross was taunting Jesus, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us,’ he said to Jesus, (v39). ..,
If you are the Christ (Messiah, Savior) of God and the elect, save yourself] (v35). …,
“If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!” (v37). …and he turned to Jesus, and cursed him, saying, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself! …Isn’t this the same logic as the leaders and the crowd?
◎In contrast, the other criminal, upon hearing the Lord Jesus’ prayer, frankly admitted his wrongdoings and sins. He humbly asked Jesus on the cross for mercy. Then the other rebuked him, but he responded “Do you not fear God? We are all being punished for what we have done. But this man has done nothing wrong.”
◎At the same time that he acknowledged their sin, he also acknowledged that Jesus should not suffer the penalty of death, that is, the substitutionary death as the Messiah, “the sinless Son of God, who suffered the penalty of death on the cross”. He then humbly asked Jesus to have mercy on him, “Jesus, remember me when you come to the throne of your kingdom,³” he said (v42). The Lord Jesus turned to him and said, “Very truly, I tell you, I will remember me when you arrive at the throne of your kingdom” (v42). You will be with me in paradise (v43).”
*”The Declaration of Jesus on the Cross” is,
“Today” (today), is an expression. The “promise of grace” that we receive from Jesus is from “today. From the moment you believe in Him.
The expression “with me” indicates the “victorious grace” at the time of Christ’s final days in the “Kingdom of God. Jesus Christ” will always be with us until the end of the world.
“Paradise” refers to the “Kingdom of God” (Isaiah 51:3), which will soon be brought about, comparable to the “Garden of Eden,” where God and man will be together. The New Testament describes the “Kingdom of God” in Revelation 2:3,7, 22:2.
◎Luke, who was a Gentile,
The fundamental principle of the gospel of Christ is the choice between rejecting the Messiah (Christ) and accepting Him (Christ).
By contrasting and contrasting the events of the two criminals on the cross, just moments before their deaths, in a moment of crisis, Luke is telling us that the basic principle of the gospel of Christ depends on either rejecting the Messiah (Christ) or accepting Him.
As a physician, Luke’s tells us that we should be clear about the attitude of the two men on the cross.
*Luke 23:47-53 would like to summarize the Bible verses up to verse 3 as the Passion Week of the Lord Jesus.

How we would have loved to be with you in person on your celebration of the twentieth anniversary of Noukendai Bible Fellowship, but it seems this letter will have to be the only way. God has done amazing things to start and continue Noukendai Bible Fellowship.

We can remember twenty years ago how we felt God was leading us to begin a time of learning about Jesus, studying
the Bible together with others, and fellowshipping with others that God would bring out of the community. There was no other church in Noukendai at the time. There were several difficulties, however. We had no other people to work with us. Then God in His love brought Kohichi and Shirley who wanted to help us. We had no music abilities, but Shirley could play the piano and Kohichi could play the guitar. We had no place to meet, but God provided a wonderful place near a playground with another room for children and a nice kitchen. Larry could not speak Japanese, but Kohichi could translate his messages into Japanese. So Noukendai Bible Fellowship was born. Many others through the years have faithfully shared God’s love and helped God come alive in the hearts of people through the ministry there. God gets all the glory for what He has done and is doing there.

God is a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. May He continue to bless each of you with His grace and mercy. We will be praying for you.

能見台聖書会の皆様、ご挨拶申し上げます。

私たちは、能見台聖書会の20周年記念礼拝に直接参加したかったのですが、この手紙が唯一の方法となってしまいました。神様は、能見台聖書会を始め、継続するために驚くべきことをしてくださいました。

20年前、私たちは、イエス様について学び、他の人たちと一緒に聖書を学び、仲間と交わる時を始めるように神様が導いてくださっていると感じたことを覚えています。
共に聖書を学び、神さまが地域に連れてきてくださる人々と交わる時を始めるよう、神さまが導いてくださっていると感じた20年前を思い出します。当時、能見台には他の教会はありませんでした。しかし、いくつかの困難がありました。一緒に働いてくれる人がいなかったのです。そんなとき、神様の愛によって、公一さんとシャーリーさんが助けてくれることになりました。私たちには音楽の才能はありませんでしたが、シャーリーさんはピアノ、公一さんはギターを弾くことができました。私たちには集まる場所がありませんでしたが、神様は遊び場の近くに素晴らしい場所を用意してくださり、子供用の別の部屋と素敵なキッチンも用意してくださいました。ラリーさんは日本語を話すことができませんでしたが、公一さんは彼のメッセージを日本語に翻訳しました。こうして能見台聖書会が誕生しました。他の多くの人々は、長年にわたって忠実に神の愛を伝え、そこでのミニストリーを通して人々の心の中に神が生き生きと現れるのを助けてきました。神様がそこでなさったこと、なさっていることに対して、神様はすべての栄光を得ておられます。

神様は寛容な方で、恵み深く、思いやりがあり、怒るのが遅く、愛にあふれています。神の恵みと慈しみをもって、あなた方一人ひとりを祝福し続けてくださいますように。私たちはあなたのために祈っています。

Noukendai Bible Fellowship (NBF) is a survivor. How many times has the evil one tried to end your ministry? That old devil has tried with every tool he has to break your spirit, but he will never succeed as long as the Lord Jesus is the main focus of NBF. What you have done in the past must be repeated in the future as the story never changes. It never grows old. People change but God’s work does not.
Twenty years. This means twenty individual years of finding and doing the will of God. Finding God’s will is the most difficult task in my life. It is work and it is on purpose that the search is not always easy. Notice the Apostle Paul says, “I kneel before the Father.” This is where living the Christian life begins and ends: on our knees.
This is surrender of self to our Creator, the one who loves us more than we love ourselves. What will happen in the next two decades? Only God knows, but unless Jesus returns, you must remain steadfast in your message, your faith, your hope, and your love for Jesus.
NBF stands as a beacon with a light that is brighter than you understand. Never lose sight that God is always there. He will never leave or forsake you. You must let your light shine even in the most difficult of trials. God will provide the power as you surrender without knowing just how he will work or what will be the outcome. This is faith at its best.
NBF has different meaning for all who are a part of this fellowship of believers. I offer a last thought as you remember your purpose: ‘N’ – NEIGHBOR ‘B’ – BROTHER- ‘F’ – FRIEND
These three words perhaps give us encouragement to move on as God changes people as the work remains unchanging.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you live before your neighbor, brothers and make friends with those chosen by God.

能見台聖書会は困難を切り抜けて来た教会です。何度、悪しき者が聖書会のミニストリーを終わらせようとしたことでしょうか？サタンはあらゆる手段を使って、皆さんのやる気をくじこうと試みましたが、主イエスがNBFの焦点である限り、サタンは決して成功することはないのです。これは変わることがないので、皆さんは過去にしたことを、将来も繰り返さなければなりません。人は変わりますが、神の働きは変わりません。
20年。これは、神の御心を見つけ実行して来た20年の1年1年を意味します。神の御心を見つけることは私の人生で最も難しい作業です。それは仕事であり、それを探すことが必ずしも容易ではないのは目的があってのことです。使徒パウロが「私は父の前にひざまづきます」と言っていることに注目してください。クリスチャンの生活はここで始まり、ここで終わります：ひざまづくこと。
これが、私たちが自分を愛する以上に、私たちを愛してくださっている創造主に自分自身を委ねるということです。次の20年は何が起こるでしょうか？それを知っているのは神だけですが、イエスが戻って来るまで、皆さんは自分のメッセージ、信仰、希望、イエスへの愛にしっかりと、とどまっていなければなりません。
NBFは、皆さんが理解している以上に明るい光を持った誘導灯として立っています。神がいつもそこにいることを決して見失わないでください。神は決して皆さんを離れたり見捨てたりしません。最も困難な試練の中でも、皆さんは自分の光を輝かせなければなりません。神がどのように働くのか、また結果はどうなるのかわからなくても、皆さんが神に委ねる時、神は力を与えてくださいます。これこそが信仰です。
NBFというイニシャルは、この交わりに関わっているすべての信仰者にとって別の意味を持っています。皆さんが目的を覚えておくために、最後に1つの考えを提案したいと思います。
「N」は隣人、「B」は兄弟、「F」は友達。
神の業は変わりませんが、神が人々を変えてくださる時、これらの3つの言葉は、私たちが前進するための励ましとなることでしょう。
皆さんが隣人や兄弟の中に生き、神によって選ばれた人々と友達になる時、私たちの思いと祈りは皆さんと共にあります。

主イエスが来るまで豊かな祝福がありますように！

Congratulations to Noukendai Bible Fellowship (NBF) as you celebrate your 20th anniversary. I wish I could be there to celebrate with you.
As the Lead Pastor of Lighthouse Christian Church in Seattle, I’ve loved the partnership our church has enjoyed over the years with NBF. We’ve been able to partner together many times by sending mission teams to participate in NBF Vacation Bible Schools. Our people have loved getting to fellowship and serve together with members of your church.
I made my first visit to NBF in 2017 and have been back four times since. It’s been a privilege to offer seminars and speak in your worship services. I’ve so appreciated your hospitality, kindness, and eagerness to receive teaching from God’s Word.
I love the people and ministry of NBF and hope to return to visit you after this COVID pandemic ends. May God bless you richly as you bring the good news of Jesus to your community and build a church for God’s glory. Congratulations on turning 20, and may the best years be the ones to come.

私もその場にいて、皆さんと一緒にお祝いしたかったです。
私は、シアトルのライトハウスクリスチャン教会の主任牧師として、私たちの教会とNBFとの長年に渡る喜びの協力関係を大切に思っています。私たちの教会は、NBFで行われた子供のための夏休み聖書学校にミッションチームを何回も派遣して協力することができました。私たちの教会の人々は、NBFの人々と共に交わり、奉仕することに大きな喜びを感じています。私は2017年に初めてNBFを訪れ、それ以来4回訪問しました。セミナーを開催し、礼拝で話すことができて光栄です。皆さんのおもてなし、優しさ、そして神の言葉から教えを受けたいという熱意にとても感謝しています。
私にとって、NBFの人々と宣教は貴いので、このパンデミックが終わったら、皆さんを訪問したいと願っています。皆さんがイエスの良い知らせを地域にもたらし、神の栄光のために教会を建てる時、神が皆さんを豊かに祝福してくださいますように。 20周年おめでとうございます。これからが最高の年となりますように。

A Modern-day Early Christian Church

Noukendai Bible Fellowship (NBF) has no full-time pastor or church-owned building, but devotes itself “to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Therefore, it is a church reminiscent of the church in Acts 2:42. For most of the last 20 years, NBF has rented a place and non-clergy leaders and participants have shared roles and worshipped. God has always provided people to deliver His word from the Bible. I thank and praise the Lord Jesus Christ for meeting the needs of NBF, the body and bride of Christ, blessing the people who gather there, and cherishing them!
I myself experienced the importance and joy of the Lord’s community through worship and fellowship in this flock. I am also very grateful that I took on a role that I thought was difficult and grew with the help of the Lord. May NBF continue to be used powerfully by the Lord to preach His gospel of love and salvation as it is written in Acts 2:47, “praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved”!

現代の初代教会

能見台聖書会は、専任の牧師も、教会所有の建物もなく、“使徒たちの教えを堅く守り、交わりをし、パンを裂き、祈りをしていた“（使徒の働き 2:42）という初代教会を思い起こさせる教会です。
この20年のほとんどの間、能見台聖書会は、場所を借りて、信徒リーダーと参加者が役割を分担して礼拝を守り続け、聖書の言葉を語る人が常に備えられました。キリストの体であり、花嫁である能見台聖書会の必要を満たし、そこに集う人々を祝福して、大切に養ってきてくださった主イエス・キリストに感謝と賛美！
私自身、この群れの中での礼拝と交わりを通して、主にある共同体の大切さと喜びを経験しました。また、自分には難しいと思っていた役割を引き受け、主の助けによって成長させられたことも大きな感謝です。
“神を賛美し、すべての民に好意を持たれた。主も毎日救われる人々を仲間に加えてくださった” （使徒の働き 2:47）と記されている初代教会のように、これからも、能見台聖書会が、主イエス・キリストの愛と救いの福音を伝えるために、主によって力強く用いられますように！

To those who are part of Noukendai Bible Fellowship,

I remember how happy I was to learn about Noukendai Bible Fellowship in 2004 and to be able to visit together with our son, Chris, one Lord’s day when we were visiting Etsuko’s parents.
I was excited to learn about a church that was led by “lay” people and not led by a “leader” who was trying to impress people with degrees, awards, or other earthly credentials (Philippians 3:1-21) or to lord it over others (Mark 10:42-45).
I was excited that the church’s mission was that people would come to know and grow in the Lord, and that the church was relying on Jesus’ authority to do so (Matthew 28:18-20). It was not relying on the “authority” of any man or earthly organization. I was excited that the church wasn’t wasting resources on property and buildings of its own. I was excited about the passionate music and the genuine care people showed to one another, even imperfectly. And I was excited that because of all these things, the church was reproducible and was showing a model of church that could easily grow in Japan and the rest of the world, too, to help people see and know and follow Jesus. I’m grateful for Noukendai Bible Fellowship and the friendships I’ve made through it. I pray that I’ll see everyone who’s ever participated in Noukendai Bible Fellowship in heaven someday!
Praise the Lord for the longevity of your fellowship! And may the Lord continue to grow each of you until Christ be formed in you (Galatians 4:19). And may He strengthen each of you and give you more and more love and wisdom, too, as you worship and serve together for the Lord’s glory and the salvation of those who are not yet following Jesus in your families, in Japan, and in the rest of the world!

私は、2004年に能見台聖書会について知り、（妻）江津子の両親を訪ねた時のある主の日、息子のクリスと一緒に能見台聖書会を訪れることができて、とても嬉しく思ったことを覚えています。
学位や賞、その他、この地上での資格によって人々を印象付けたり、他の人を支配したりする“リーダー“よって導かれるのではなく、“信徒“によって導かれる教会を知って、私は感動しました。（ピリピ3：1-21）（マルコ10：42-45）この教会の使命は、人々が主を知り成長することであり、そのためにこの教会はイエスの権威（マタイ28：18-20）に頼り、人間や地上の組織の“権威“に頼っていないことに、私は感動しました。
この教会が教会所有の土地や建物に資金を浪費していないことに、私は感動しました。この教会の情熱的な音楽と、たとえ不完全であっても、人々が純粋にお互いを思いやる姿に、私は感動しました。
そして、これらすべてのことゆえ、この教会は、次々と教会を生み出すことが可能で、日本だけでなく世界の他の場所でも簡単に成長でき、人々がイエスを見て、知り、従うのを助けることができる教会のモデルを示していたことに、私は感動しました。私は、能見台聖書会と聖書会を通して築いてきた友情に感謝します。能見台聖書会に関わったすべての人と、いつか天国でお会いできることを祈っています！
長きに渡る皆さんの交わりを主に賛美します！そして、キリストが皆さんの内に形造られるまで（ガラテヤ4:19）主が皆さん1人1人を成長させ続けてくださいますように！主の栄光のため、また、皆さんのご家族、日本や世界の他の地域でまだイエスに従っていない人々の救いのために、皆さんが共に礼拝し、仕える時、主が皆さん1人1人を強め、さらなる愛と知恵を与えてくださいますように！

As Noukendai Bible Fellowship celebrates its 20th anniversary. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the participants for their tireless service and for the truth and grace that the Lord God continues to bless.

Thanks to the pandemic we have been able to attend worship services viaZOOM since last year even from Seattle. Sunday 3:00 pm in Japan is 10 pm standard time in the US and 11 pm daylight saving time starting March 14th. After the worship, it’s past midnight, but we look forward to it every week. We are grateful to hear a good message that was carefully prepared. We are glad that new people who we didn’t meet when we visited Noukendai about 10 years ago are serving today.

From the first genealogy Adam in Genesis chapter 5, a pastor from Japan at a Japanese church we used to attend shared that of Adam, Seth, Enos, … only one, Enoch, who ended with “dead”, was not “dead” but was marked as “walking with God and gone because God took him.” I still remember.
I pray every morning that the participants of the Noukendai Bible Fellowship will continue to learn and convey the spiritual life that continues to walk with God.
“The righteous live by faith” (Habakkuk 2: 4)

能見台聖書会が２０周年を迎えます。参加者の方々のたゆまぬご奉仕を、主なる神が祝福され続けておられる、まことと恵に心より感謝いたします。
コロナ蔓延のおかげで、昨年よりZOOMで礼拝に出席できるようになりました。おかげで、私たちもシアトルから参加しています。日本の日曜日午後３時は、こちらでは、現在の標準時間で夜１０時、３月１４日に始まる夏時間では１１時です。礼拝が終わると、真夜中を過ぎるのですが、毎週楽しみにしています。丁寧に準備された、良いメッセージを聞くことが出来、感謝しています。私たちが１０年ほど前に、能見台を訪れた時にはお会いしなかった新しい方々が、集会のご奉仕にあたっておられるのも嬉しいことです。
以前通っていた日系教会で、日本から来られた牧師が、創世記５章にアダムから始まった人の最初の系図から、アダム，セツ、エノス、、、現代に比べると大変長生きでも、皆「死んだ」で終わっている、ただ一人、エノクのみが「死んだ」でおわらず、「神とともに歩み、神が彼を取られたのでいなくなった」と記されていると、メッセージされたのを今でも覚えています。
神とともに歩み続ける信仰生活を、能見台聖書会の参加者の方々が、学び伝え続けられることを、毎朝祈っています。
「義人は信仰によって生きる」（ハバクク２：４）

４月５日の日曜日に、能見台聖書会で第１９周年をオンラインの礼拝で迎えました。普遍的で忠実な主を感謝し、御国の働きが力強く続くことを一緒に祈りましょう。

On Sunday April 5th, Noukendai Bible Fellowship celebrated its 19th anniversary with an on-line worship service. We thank our faithful and unchanging Lord. Let us pray together that God will continue to work powerfully for His Kingdom

Dear Brothers and Sisters
We will not meet at NBF this Sunday, the first time we have ever canceled a meeting in 19 years. But God is faithful and he will provide a way out of this for all of us!
