Recognizing the Risen Jesus
復活したイエスを認識すること
LK 24.13-49, JN 20.19-22 ルカ24・13-49、ヨハネ20・19-22
“Their eyes were prevented from recognizing Jesus.” LK 24.16

“Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized Jesus, and he disappeared from their sight.” LK 24.31

Intro: After Jesus rose from the dead, the disciples were in a period of transition to understand the resurrection
life and body of Jesus. He allowed them to recognize his presence in the same ways they had known him for 3
years. We also recognize the risen but unseen presence of Jesus in exactly the same ways as the first disciples.
はじめに： イエスが死からよみがえられた後、弟⼦たちはイエスの復活の命と⾁体を理解するための移⾏
期にありました。彼は、彼らが3 年間イエスを知っていたのと同じ⽅法で、彼の存在を認識することを許
しました。私たちもまた、最初の弟⼦たちとまったく同じ⽅法で、復活したとはいえ⽬に⾒えないイエス
の存在を認識しています。
The disciples: 弟⼦たち
(1) Transitioned from the presence of a visible body to the invisible body of Jesus.
⽬に⾒える⾁体の存在から、⽬に⾒えないイエスの⾁体に移⾏した。
(2) Transitioned from the limited (by space/time) Jesus to the unlimited presence of Jesus
限られた（空間・時間による）イエスの存在から、無限のイエスの存在に移⾏した。
In the resurrection appearances of Jesus, the disciples: イエスの復活の姿において、弟⼦たちは：
- Recognized Jesus in His unique ministry of TEACHING THE SCRIPTURES: “our hearts were burning…” LK 24.32

(1) Jesus reminded his disciples of His Words and the Scriptures through the Angels LK 24.6-8

(2) Jesus “talked to us and opened the Scriptures to us” LK 24.32

(3) Jesus “explained to them what was said about Him in all the Scriptures” LK 24.27

(5) This is what Jesus had done every day for 40 months in his ministry
これは、イエスが40 ヶ⽉間、毎⽇⾏っていた宣教の内容である。
(6) This is what WE must do every day to recognize and live in the unseen presence of the risen Jesus
これが、復活したイエスの⽬に⾒えない存在を認識し、その中に⽣きるために、私たちが⽇々⾏

(3) eating meals together with the Risen Jesus LK 24.30, 41-42, JN 21.12-13; ACTS 1.4

(4) Jesus ate two meals every day with his disciples for 40 months. He was the center of their fellowship.
イエスは40 ヶ⽉間、弟⼦たちと毎⽇2 ⾷を共にされました。彼は彼らの交わりの中⼼であった。
(5) We too must fellowship with believers every day to recognize the unseen presence of Jesus
私たちも、毎⽇、信者たちと交わり、⽬に⾒えないイエスの存在を認識する必要がある。 - Recognized Jesus by PRAYING with Him… believers talking to the Father with Jesus

(1) The two disciples recognized Jesus when he took the bread and PRAYED before the meal LK 24.35
⼆⼈の弟⼦は、イエスがパンを取り、⾷事の前に祈られたので、イエスを認識した ルカ 24.35
(2) Jesus had prayed with the disciples every day for 3 years
イエスは3 年間、毎⽇弟⼦たちと共に祈っていた。
(3) Jesus had promised His presence in a special way when disciples pray MT 18.19-20
弟⼦たちが祈るとき、イエスは特別な⽅法でご⾃分の存在を約束された マタイ 18.19-20
(4) We too must pray in fellowship with the Trinity to recognize the unseen presence of Jesus
私たちも三位⼀体との交わりの中で祈り、イエスの⾒えない存在を認識しなければならない - Recognized Jesus by the SCARS in His hands and feet…The cross is the ultimate revelation of God JN 8.28

(1) The two disciples recognized Jesus when he extended his hands to break the bread LK 24.35

(2) Later, Jesus showed His scars to all the disciples so they would recognize Him LK 24.40, JN 20.20
その後、イエスは弟⼦たち全員に傷跡を⾒せ、イエスを認識させた ルカ 24.40, ヨハネ 20.20
(3) A week later, Jesus showed His scars to Thomas JN 20.27

(4) We too must focus on the scars of Jesus to recognize His unseen presence
私たちもイエスの傷跡に注⽬し、⽬に⾒えないイエスの存在を認識する必要がある。
(5) Those scars will be seen and worshipped forever in heaven… “I saw a Lamb standing as if slain…”
その傷跡は天国で永遠に⾒られ、崇拝される。「私は、殺されたように⽴つ⼩⽺を⾒た…」
Recognizing the Risen, unseen Jesus requires faith.
Unbelief prevents us from seeing Jesus.
Jesus teaching us the Scriptures, fellowship, prayer, and the cross work together to create/strengthen our faith.
復活した、⾒えないイエスを認識するには、信仰が必要です。
不信仰は、私たちがイエスを⾒ることを妨げます。
イエスが教えてくださる聖書、交わり、祈り、そして⼗字架は、私たちの信仰を⽣み出し、強めるために
共に働きます。
